Redesigned Nissan Sentra Starts From $19,090 and Arrives in 2020

Nissan recently unveiled the redesigned 2020 Sentra, and it is looking quite fresh. Today, we find out just how much this freshness will cost.

The redesigned 2020 Nissan Sentra will roll in boasting a brand-new look akin to its big brothers, the Maxima and Altima. This gives it a lower and wider front grille, a sleeker roofline, a bolder stance, and wraparound taillights.

Inside, the redesigned Sentra gets a new lease on life with a more premium look combined with a dash of sportiness from its round air vents and flat-bottom steering wheel. This cabin is also a safer space than before with its now standard Nissan Safety Shield 360 suite of safety goodies that includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, high-beam assist, and rear automatic braking.

Under its hood, the 2020 Nissan Sentra will boast an all-new 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers 149 horsepower and 146 pound-feet of torque. These are gains of 25 horsepower and 21 pound-feet of torque over the 2019 model’s standard 1.8-liter engine. To help drivers manage this extra power is an updated suspension system and chassis with twin-tube shocks and a more responsive electric power steering system.

The 2020 Sentra will hit the Nissan of Bradenton showroom serving Bradenton, Sarasota, St. Petersburg, and the surrounding area on Jan. 28, 2020. It will come in three trim levels, and their prices will be as follows:

  •       2020 Nissan Sentra S: $19,090
  •       2020 Nissan Sentra SV: $20,270
  •       2020 Nissan Sentra SR: $21,430
